Report a Claim
In the unfortunate event that you need to report a claim with your carrier, AIS
will be here to help answer your questions.
Getting in an accident can be unsettling. It may be difficult to think clearly
afterwards. Be sure to gather the following information at the scene of the
accident: a photo of the scene, the other driver's name and contact
information, his/her insurance policy number, driver's license number and
license plate number. It will also be helpful to have the names and phone
numbers of any other individuals involved.
When you call to report your loss, your carrier's claims team goes to work. In
order to expedite your claim, it's best to contact your carrier directly after
a loss. You will speak to one of your carrier's representatives, who will
gather information about the incident. Your carrier may record or otherwise
document the interview to expedite the entire claims process. Your
representative will explain to you relevant policy coverage, and, if you
choose, we can help locate a body shop.
Some of our carriers allow you to report a claim online. The links below will
direct you to your carrier's online claim reporting system. In the case that
claim reporting is not available online, we have provided each carrier's claims
handling phone number.
