Affordable California Automobile Insurance

Information regarding California's low income program

California's Low Cost Auto Insurance Program

California law requires all drivers within the state to carry the state’s minimum auto insurance limits. To help good drivers that are income eligible afford auto insurance that meets the mandatory insurance law, California offers the California Low Cost Auto (CLCA) Insurance program.

Each CLCA insurance policy provides liability coverage for the vehicle’s primary driver and eligible secondary drivers. Following an accident, liability insurance covers damage you cause to other people and their property. The CLCA insurance program does not provide coverage for your own medical or vehicle repair costs.
